Very helpful staff, offered help with luggage, directed us to the lift, nice comfortable room with windows we could open, excellent food, good car park. A very pleasant hotel which we would certainly use again and recommend. I am waitng for the pillow which I sadly left behind but have been promised theat it will be sent on - a great service.
Service in the dining room in the evening was very slow . We had coffee in the lounge in the morning which was poor. A suggestion --It was very warm while we were there and a sheet and a blanket in the cupboard would have been great, I feel the heat and not every one likes duvets.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Everything you'd need for a relaxing holiday/break.On arrival had lunch in pub under hotel-good food and service.
Stunning view from our room 30.helpful staff in all areas of hotel will be back soon.recommended to friends and family.
The Glenridding Hotel provided us with excellent service and comfort, the way the staff made us feel special in both the hotel and the restaurant. The settings of the hotel is stunning.
The staff at the hotel were always friendly and welcoming. The hotel was an excellent base for the purpose of our trip which was climbing Helvellyn.
A perfect location for seeing the beauty of the Lake District
Difficult access for disabled person
everthing it was great
The view was lovely and the location is good over looking the lake.
out of date and damaged furniture . payment policy that the customer is unaware of . far to expensive .
I liked the location.
Restaurant quality noisy room
the hotel provided me with a perfect location to travel to various locations. the staff were friendly and polite at all time`s, the facility`s ie the pool etc were at hand and if a bar meal was required then Ratchers bar on the lower level was the place to head for.all in all a very enjoyable stay .
It was a pity the main restaurant menu did not have more choice and did not change dueing the stay, if you were to stay over a week then i am sure you would be looking else where for some variation
Great stay very helpful staff. nice pool, excelent location
I was very please with my stay. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the surroundings and the atmosphere very pleasant. Looking forward to revisiting.
On arrival we was greeted by a lovely young male receptionist, he was so nice and informative, on a couple of occasions when I had to go to the desk he always had a nice smile and nothing was to much trouble, even when we had trouble with our bedroom door (room 46), the bedroom was spotless, really comfy bed. We had our evening meal in the garden room, the food was first class and the same goes for the waitresses. The breakfast was fantastic, ive never been anywhere else that as had such a wide variety of choice before from full english to haddock and poached egg just brilliant. Congratulations to all members of staff we loved it here and will definateley will be going back. I also used the pool and sauna which was lovely after a walk up helvellyn. Location is perfect.
Me and my pregnant wife had a wonderful 6 days there on our honeymoon , the hotel service was spot on , one of the waitresses (Raza) was extremely helpful throughout our stay , especially one morning when my partner started getting some stomach cramps , she was as concerned as much as we where and asked if she should call an ambulance , but luckily we didn't need it , she would ask how the baby was every time we see her after that . Everything about the hotel was great and my wife and I didn't have a single complaint , thank you for making out honeymoon such a lively stay , Kevin and Gemma Hasley
